Alamo Ranch fills the far West Side between Loop 1604 and Culebra Road, with Alamo Ranch Parkway and Talley Road running through it and SH 151 heading back toward town. It went up fast and modern, and almost everything here is newer than the people worrying about it.
Newer does not mean finished. These homes are adding the things builders leave out, and we wrote up what production building leaves behind in our new construction guide for Alamo Ranch. The same era of building is filling in next door at Westover Hills, and it gives way to bigger lots north in Helotes.
The ground we cover
Alamo Ranch, corridor by corridor
- Loop 1604
- Culebra Road
- Alamo Ranch Parkway
- Talley Road
- SH 151
- Builder-grade means built to the minimum
- Code is a floor, not a target. A production home meets it and stops. Every charger, every added circuit, and every upgrade starts from that floor, so we tell you where the floor actually is.
- Speed leaves loose ends
- Building at volume produces loose neutrals, shared neutrals, and connections that were torqued by someone in a hurry. Newer is not the same as flawless, and we check rather than assume.
- Surge protection nobody installed
- A home full of smart devices and a builder who did not install a whole-home surge device is a common combination out here. It is a cheap fix and worth doing before the first spring storm.

The Wattsmith Standard
How we do the work
Four things we do on every job, and what happens when we miss one.
The Wattsmith On-Time Promise
We show up in the window we give you. If something moves it, you hear it from us first, with a reason. Miss the window with no heads-up, and your diagnostic fee is on us.
Flat rate before work starts
You get the price up front and you approve it before we touch a wire. No hourly meter running while you watch.
Clean job site
We protect your floors, haul our mess, and leave the space the way we found it. You should not be able to tell we were there, except the work is done right.
Code-right, or we make it right
Everything we install meets code and we stand behind it. If it is not right, we come back and fix it. That is the whole deal.
