Good recessed lighting is mostly layout. Lights spaced too far apart leave dark patches, and lights packed too close waste fixtures and add glare. We plan the spacing to the room and to what happens in it, so a kitchen counter gets direct light and a living room gets an even wash.
Slim LED fixtures need little depth, which suits remodels and ceilings with little room above them. Where insulation touches a fixture we use IC rated lights made for that contact, and we set the lights on dimmers that work with LED.

It depends on the room's size, its ceiling height and how it is used. We lay the lights out so their light overlaps evenly without hot spots, and show you the plan before installing.
