A ceiling fan is heavier than the light it often replaces, and it moves. That is why the box above it matters as much as the fan: a box made only for a light is not built to hold a spinning load, so we check what is in the ceiling before the fan goes up and fit a fan rated box when it needs one.
We install new fans where there was no fixture, swap a light for a fan, hang outdoor rated fans on covered patios, and fit downrods for high ceilings so the blades sit at a useful height. Wall controls and remotes are wired and tested before we leave.

FAQ
Common questions
Straight answers. If you do not see yours, call us and ask.
Often, yes. The wiring a light uses can usually run a fan, but the box holding it has to be rated for a fan. If the box in the ceiling is made only for a light, it is replaced with a fan rated box or brace as part of the job.
