Most fan problems come down to a few causes. A wobble is usually balance or a loose mount. A hum or a fan stuck on one speed is often the capacitor. A fan that will not respond at all may be the switch, the remote, its receiver or the wiring. We test to find which before replacing anything.

When a repair makes sense, we make it. When the motor has failed or the parts cost more than a new fan is worth, we say so, and replacing it with a new fan on a properly rated box is priced as a separate choice.

FAQ

Common questions

Straight answers. If you do not see yours, call us and ask.

Blades out of balance, a blade bracket bent or loose, or a mount that has worked loose. A loose mount matters most, because the fan's weight hangs from it. We check the mount first and then balance the blades.
