What we run, and why techs stay
Wattsmith runs on documented systems, not guesswork. Flat-rate pricing quoted and approved before the work starts. Written install standards. A licensed master signing off on the work. That is the same discipline whether you are the customer or the crew.
Techs stay because the deal is straight both directions. W-2 employment, honest pay for skill, real supervision that makes you sharper, and a ladder you can actually climb. Run good work to the standard and get paid for it. That is the whole of it.
What you get here
- W-2 employment. You are an employee with a real paycheck and taxes handled, not a 1099 handed a truck and left to sort it out.
- Flat-rate integrity. The customer approves the price before we touch a wire, so you do the work right instead of racing a clock.

How production pays
Wattsmith Performance Pay
Our compensation system for production electricians: an hourly base that is always there, plus tiered commission on the daily collected revenue from your jobs. The tiers are marginal, like tax brackets, so a strong day never costs you money, and they rise as you advance through the ladder.
You are not a salesman here. The flat-rate book and the three-option presentation do the selling; your job is expert diagnosis, honest presentation, and excellent work. The fast, clean electrician out-earns the talker, five-star reviews that name you pay a bonus, and callbacks are reworked at base rate.
